Your First Visit

  • What To Expect
  • Your first visit will be a Consultation with the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, in which he or she will discuss our offered treatment options with you, and formulate a plan of treatment to meet your individual needs.

  • What To Bring
  • Any reports you may have on hand, such as MRIs or X-Rays, are always great tools for planning your course of treatment. If you don't have them available, you can always let us know where the tests were done, and we can request a copy via fax. If you have an extensive medication list, you may want to bring a written list with you. It is important that we have an accurate and up-to-date list on file. You should also be sure to bring your insurance card(s) and a form of photo identification, assuming you have one.

  • What's Next?
  • Your treatment plan will be set up for you. If your symptoms change over the course of treatment, your plan will be tailored to fit your current needs. Once your planned course of treatment is completed, Dr. Barakat will have you follow-up with him periodically to see if further treatment is recommended. If your symptoms no longer persist, the only plan is for you to enjoy a pain free life!
